Quick & Delicious Orange and Honey Soy Glaze

If you’re anything like me, you’re always looking for different ways to flavor your food. Salt and pepper go a long way. Garlic and onion (in both their fresh and powdered forms) are pretty much enough to make anything delicious. But when you’re looking for something quick, easy, and super delicious multi-purpose marinade/sauce/dressing/glaze, this 3- or 4-ingredient orange and honey soy recipe will never let you down.

When I say easy, I mean it. Just grab a jar or any container with a lid, add soy sauce, honey & half of an orange. Cover with the lid and shake, shake, shake until the honey has dissolved and the sauce appears smooth. Sometimes I add ginger (fresh minced or ground). That’s it!

After just a few simple steps you’ll have a delicious mixture that can be used in so many different ways. Don’t be afraid to make larger batches. In an airtight container, it lasts up to a month in the fridge.

Ways to use this orange and honey soy glaze

As a salad dressing

It doesn’t get any simpler than this. Make up your favorite salad, give your glaze container a fresh shake, and drizzle a little to make your next salad really pop!

To make glazed salmon or shrimp

A simple salt & pepper seasoning plus this glaze is all you need for seafood. Just cook with some oil or butter and add this glaze near the end of cooking to seal in all that flavor.

To finish sauteed, roasted or grilled vegetables

Similar to glazing the salmon or shrimp, sauteed or roasted vegetables can be enhanced with just a light coating of this glaze right before they’re finished cooking.

As a marinade

Want to really get that flavor deep down into your next dish? Start packing it in at the very beginning. Marinate your proteins in it. Use it to soak vegetables that you’re about to saute, roast or grill.
