This variation of the more popular peanut butter is for those of us who love pecans. Since pecans are naturally oily, they only need a little additional salt and some optional cinnamon for extra flavor to be turned into delicious nut butter and spread.

- Pecans (whole, chopped, etc. doesn’t really matter since we’re putting them in the food processor, just make sure there’s no shell involved)
- Ground cinnamon (optional, for flavor)
- Sea salt (optional, but recommended, for flavor)

- Rubber spatula
- Mason jar or Tupperware, for storage
Ways to use pecan butter
- Spread onto toast, bagels, pound cake, or banana bread
- Stir into your favorite ice cream

- Make a pecan butter and jelly sandwich
