everything!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">it\u2019s been less than two weeks and buying <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.malai.co\/cookbook\">Malai Ice Cream\u2019s frozen dessert cookbook<\/a> might be the best thing I\u2019ve done for myself this quarter. the pistachio crumble ice cream featured on <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/malai_icecream?igsh=dXl0N3hsbnFoMm9r\">their instagram page<\/a> was my first impression of their work and when my copy arrived, I was not disappointed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><a class=\"image-link image2 is-viewable-img\" butter<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3\/4 cup your preferred baking chocolate (bittersweet, dark or milk chocolate is fine)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 1\/4 cup white sugar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 teaspoon vanilla extract<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 eggs, room temperature*<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bd cup dutch process cocoa powder**<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 tsp instant espresso powder (I used the Cafe Bustelo brand)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/2 cup flour<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 teaspoon baking powder<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/2 teaspoon salt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">equipment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>8&#215;8\u201d or 9&#215;9\u201d pan (ceramic, metal or glass is fine)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>parchment paper<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>nonstick baking spray<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>mixing bowls (at least 2)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>small pot or microwave-safe bowl (for melting chocolate, butter, and sugar together)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>measuring cups<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>whisk (or sifter)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>rubber spatula (or wooden spoon)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">instructions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>preheat the oven to 325 degrees F, line an 8&#215;8- or 9&#215;9-inch with parchment paper and spray with non-stick spray.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>place the sugar, baking chocolate, and butter in a large microwave-safe bowl and microwave in one-minute increments, stirring in between, until the butter is completely melted and the mixture feels quite hot to the touch (approximately 3 to 4 minutes). alternatively, a large metal or glass bowl and a pot with water can be used to create a double-boiler. fill the pot halfway with water and place over medium heat.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>let chocolate mix cool for a minute***. add the eggs, one at a time, stirring vigorously after each addition.
